This week I read Jigsaw Jones The Case of Race Against Time.  The Genre is Mystery. The author is James Preller. It’s about Jigsaw Jones who goes to school and then gets a haircut. But leaves his backpack there. Jigsaw is very upset because his grandfather‘s valuable pocket watch was in there and it’s very special to his grandfather. Jigsaw must team up with his friends to find the watch. Read it to find out more! I recommend this book because it is exciting and has lots of detail.

This month I read Magic Tree House called Twister on Tuesday by Mary Pope Osborne. It’s about someone named Jack and someone named Annie go out to their tree house to go way back in time. When they were back in time they came to a school made from a little hill. Later they went and a twister came they went back to the school and hid under ground until the twister was gone. Will they make it back in time? Read to find out. The genre is historical fiction. I recommend this book to you because it is easy.

This month I read The Starving Time. It’s about a girl named Elizabeth and she is a pilgrim in the 1600’s. When she settles there, Captain Smith (Pocahantas’ friend) leaves so they don’t have food because they used to be friends with the Indians, but now they are not because they were friends with Captain Smith, so if they go out of the fort hunting they could be killed, so everybody getting sick and Elizabeth wants her twin Caleb to come to America. How do you think they will survive? Read the book to find out! The genre is Historical Fiction. I recommend this book because it teaches you some history.

This month I read Muggie Maggie by Beverly Cleary. It’s about a girl named Maggie whose teacher,  Mrs. Leeper says her cursive handwriting is untidy. So Maggie says she will not learn cursive. Do you think Maggie will want to learn cursive again? Read the book to find out! The genre is realistic fiction. This book teaches you to never give up.

This month I read Jigsaw Jones the Santa Claus Mystery by James Preller.  It’s about a boy named Jigsaw Jones and her partner Mila trying to solve case. In the book, one of Jigsaw’s clients wants to talk with Santa Claus.  Jigsaw makes a plan. Will Jigsaw’s plan work to catch Santa? The genre of the book is mystery.  I recommend this book because somewhere around the end, there a funny part.

This month I read a book called Captain Underpants and the Attack of the Talking Toilets. It’s about two boys that make their principal turn into a super hero by hypnotizing him.   So they started out in detention and instead of doing their work they wrote a comic book called Captain Underpants and the Attack of the Talking Toilets.  They copied it but somehow it turned into evil toilets.  Will they stop the toilets?   This genre is fantasy.  Read to find out.  I recommend this book because it’s funny.

This month I read a book called Encyclopedia Brown Track Them Down.  It is 10 mini stories in one book!! My favorite one is the case of the apple cider. It’s about all of these birds are acting weird by one tree. Will they find out what made them act weird? Read to find out. It is a mystery book. I recommend it to you because it’s funny.

This month I read The Art Teacher from the Black Lagoon by Mike Thaler. It is a boy’s first day of school and kids say their teacher is a monster. He heard her room is all messy and filled with crumbled paper. He also heard she won’t let you paint dinosaurs biting each other’s head off. Is she really a monster? Read to find out. This is a fiction book. I like it because it tells you never listen to a rumor.

This month I read Jumbo. It’s about a little elephant with big ears; because of his big ears people make fun of him. He becomes a clown in the circus and meets a mouse and some crows.   Find out what happened to Jumbo when read the book.  This book genre is fantasy.  I recommend this book to you because it has and good problem and a terrific solution.

The book I recommend is called Sherlock Holmes the Adventure of Greek Interpreter by Arthur Doyle. It’s about a detective named Sherlock Holmes and his partner Dr. Watson.  They were trying to find out the mystery behind a Greek person named Paul Kratides who was in captive because he did not want to give away his money.  The people who asked him for the money put poison gas in the locked room.  Will he survive?  Read to find out.  The genre is mystery.  I recommend this book because I like Sherlock Holmes.  This is one story from the whole book.

This month, I read Hardy Boys published by Franklin W. Dixon.  It is about these boys named Frank and Joe that get a mission and tells them to go to New York City to find out who murdered Evan and Mark.  Read to find out who killed them.  The genre is mystery.  The reason I recommend it is because I read almost all the books and the author has never let me down!

This month I read The Silver Chair written by C. S. Lewis.  It’s about two children named Jill and Eustace who go on a mission to look for a lost prince!  In the story they met the prince, but also get put under a spell.  Will they break the spell?  Read to find out!  The genre was fantasy.  I recommend this book because when they look for the prince the meet a mash-wiggle, which is a person that is very tall and they see places they have never seen before!

This month I read Ugly Caterpillar by Carl Sommer. It’s about three friends. They notice an egg. Two friends think it’s ugly and whatever is inside it is too. Then when they were playing on the tree they saw a caterpillar. Two friends thought it was ugly, but the third friend said I’ll play with you.  When they played and played, as the caterpillar grew and grew one day the caterpillar said she had to go.   Why do you think caterpillar had to go, and what will happen?  Read to find out!  This genre is fantasy.  I recommend this book because it tells you that if you treat a friend good, the friend treat you good back.

This month I read King of the Pond by Carl Sommer.  It’s about a tadpole named Tombo that is the biggest and the strongest and the fastest. He always brags and is a bully to all the other tadpoles. But one day a boy saw him flip. (well teasing the others) and the boy caught him! Find out what happens to Tombo when you read this great book! The genre of this book is fantasy. I liked it because it teaches people never to bully another people.

This week I read You’re the Greatest, Charlie Brown by Charles M. Schulz. It’s about a boy named Charlie Brown who entered a decathlon race.  It was a hard contest, Charlie practiced for days.  Soon the race began.  Charlie had practiced a lot.  Find out what happens next when you read it.  The Genre of this book is Fiction.  I recommend this book because it teaches you how to show not to give up and try your best.

I read Celebi Resue.    It’s about a Pokemon trainer that helps rescue Celebi, a Pokemon.  When Ash’s Pikachu runs the path, Ashe finds himself face to face with a Pokemon ranger.  When he tells the Pokemon Ranger what happened, she goes with him.  When they find Pikachu, they find Celebi.  They help Celebi and make camp.  By morning, Celebi’s all better, but team rocket gets Celebi!  Will they stop team rocket?  I recommend this book because it’s exciting.  The genre is fantasy.

This month I read a Magic Tree House book called Dolphins at Day Break by Mary Pope Osborne.  It’s about Jack and Annie.  They are trying to solve a riddle to become master librarians.  They go to Hawaii.  The find a submarine they go under water.  There are a bunch of different animals.  They find two dolphins.  A shark comes, and the dolphins helped swim back to land.  Will they solve the first riddle?  Read the book to find out more.  The genre is historical fiction.  I recommend the book because they go on a bunch of different quests.
